Army controls wild forest fire in J&K

Jammu, April 27 (UNI) The Indian Army from the Udhampur-based Northern Command helped control a wild forest fire.

A Defence Ministry spokesman on Wednesday said the troops went to the assistance of the civil administration to protect the villagers of Bainth from a raging fire on Tuesday.

The Army despatched fire tenders along with a quick reaction team.
