Baramulla DLCC sanctions Rs.47.53 lakh to militancy hit victims

BARAMULLA: The District Level screening-cum-consultative committee meeting was held under the chairmanship of District Magistrate, Baramulla Yasha Mudgal today. The committee sanctioned Rs. 47.53 lakh in favour of militancy related victims along with Rs 7 lac as cash compensation, to next kins of the deceased persons and Rs.40 lakh as cash compensation to the next kins deceased persons against SRO 43, Rs 53000 in favour of property damaged cases. Besides, DLCC sanctioned one appointment against SRO 43 and 19 cases were settled on the spot while as other cases were referred to concerned agencies for re-verification of report.
Additional Deputy Commissioner, Assistant Commissioner, Revenue Officers, Officers of various Security Agencies attended the meeting.
