BJP Mahila Morcha holds introductory meet; President Neha Mahajan stresses boost to AatmaNirbhar Bharat in J&K

 The BJP Mahila Morcha, Jammu & Kashmir, held an introductory meeting with its newly inducted executive members at the party headquarters in Jammu on Monday. The session was chaired by BJP Mahila Morcha J&K President Advocate Neha Mahajan, who welcomed the members and presented the organisation’s vision for the coming months.

Mahajan reviewed the ongoing AatmaNirbhar Bharat initiatives and urged members to strengthen grassroots outreach, strategic planning, and participation of women across the UT. She emphasised that women’s empowerment remains central to the BJP’s mission and highlighted the need to ensure maximum benefits of self-reliance programmes reach women in every district.

Senior office bearers — including Poonam Gupta, Prerna Nanda, Santosh Sharma, Sunita Raina, Gitanjali Mahajan, Suman Raina, Anuradha Sharma, Rimmy Charak, and Shahina Akhtar — shared their inputs and reaffirmed their commitment to expanding organisational reach.

Newly inducted Executive Members Praveen Arora, Sangeeta Anand, Veena Gupta, Kusum Gupta, Sunita Gupta, and Payal Khosla also actively participated, discussing upcoming initiatives, district-level coordination, and plans to scale women-centric programmes.

Reiterating Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s vision, Mahajan said women’s empowerment and self-reliance are key pillars of national progress. She assured that Mahila Morcha will continue its efforts to expand these initiatives across Jammu & Kashmir.

The meeting concluded with a collective resolve to improve organisational efficiency, deepen grassroots engagement, and work unitedly for the welfare and empowerment of women throughout the UT.(KINS)
