The body of an intruder who was captured alive and died of cardiac arrest at military hospital, has been handed over to the Pakistan-occupied-Kashmir (PoK) authorities on Monday via Chakkan-da-Bagh in Poonch district of Jammu and Kashmir.
Official sources said that the body of intruder/terrorist, Tabarak Hussain, a PoK resident, who died days after his capture on August 21 in injured condition by the army along the Line of Control in Jhangar area of Rajouri district, was handed over to the authorities concerned in PoK.
“The gate was opened at 1105 hours and the body was handed over to them,” they said.
“The postmortem of Tabarak Hussain was conducted by a team of doctors at Sub District Hospital, Surankote on Sunday before handing over the body,” an official added.
