Bollywood actor Mukesh Rishi today attended the proceedings of the Jammu and Kashmir Legislative Assembly, taking a seat in the Speaker’s gallery.
J&K Assembly Speaker Abdul Rahim Rather announced his presence in the House, after which the members welcomed him with applause.
The actor remained present in the speaker gallery.
Rishi, who hails from Jammu, is a well-known figure in Indian cinema, acclaimed for his powerful performances in several blockbuster films.
The Autumn session of the Jammu and Kashmir Assembly began on October 23 and will conclude on October 31.
