CAPD constitutes vigilance Squads, fixes rates

Jammu: To maintain strict vigil over profiteering, black marketing of essential commodities and safeguard the interests of consumers, including tourists, Jammu and Kashmir Department of Consumer Affairs and Public Distribution has initiated certain stringent measures to streamline the distribution system.
Board based vigilance and monitoring squads have been constituted to watch the interests of common man and check any losses and pilferage, official spokesman here said.
