Confusion, Chaos Prevail After Srinagar Turns Fortress for PM Visit

Srinagar: Ahead of Prime Minster Narender Modi’s visit scheduled for November 7, the state government has imposed unprecedented security measures across Srinagar city. Scores of naka party’s are set up almost on all routes of the city while frequent patrolling is being conducted in the populated areas.

The Sheri Kashmir cricket stadium where the Prime Minister is scheduled to address the rally has been sealed form all the sides and the traffic have also been diverted to other routes. The police and paramilitary forces dotting the roads across city are thoroughly frisking the commuters besides checking the vehicles plying on road.

Since the traffic at various places is diverted, the confusion and chaos has prevailed in the city congesting all the roads leading to massive traffic jams.
