Anantnag: Asserting to play as constructive role as major opposition party, the Congress today vowed to emerge as the largest single party in Ladakh Autonomous Hill Development Council elections.
The state Congress Chief Ghulam Ahmad Mir while addressing an Executive Body of Pradesh Youth Congress at Dak Bunglow Khanabal in District Anantnag on Saturday appreciated its youth wing for organizing Yuva Akrosh Rally against the anti youth and wrong policies of Coalition Government in the State.
“The rally has already started from Jammu province, here it will start from South Kashmir on 2Ist of this month and will end in Ladakh region”.
PCC Chief said that the Coalition government has brought miseries for the people and is ignorant to the issues concerning people.
“There is a complete uncertainty in the State due to inherent contradiction in the approach of PDP-BJP towards the state and people, which has sent wrong signals in the regions, he added.
Appealing Youth of Kashmir to participate in the Yuva Akrosh Rally, PCC Chief felt confident that greater participation of Youth in this Rally would be a right thing to agitate and demonstrate the anger, in a democratic way, against the wrong policies of coalition government.
PCC Chief said that Congress party would continue to perform its role as a constructive opposition in the State and won’t remain silent spectator to the miseries and problems people are facing. He said Congress party is highly concerned about the multiple issues concerning people, particularly, deprived and down trodden sections of society, he said.
On this occasion, PCC Chief expressed confidence that Congress being strong enough will emerge as Number One in the Leh Hill Council Elections, he said Congress Party has delivered and would continue to do so for strengthening the people in all the three regions, because Congress Party is not only a strong force, but a vital instrument of service to the people of State and Country," he said.
