Ganderbal: A cotton factory suffered heavy damage after it went up in flames in central Kashmir’s Ganderbal district on Monday.
An official told the news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO) that fire broke out in the factory at around 1:30 PM and locals tried to douse the flames, however, they failed to do so.
Later, fire tenders reached the spot and doused the flames but the factory had already suffered massive damages as the fire tenders didn’t reach in time. The official said that fire in the factory erupted due to a short circuit.
