EAM holds talks with New Zealand counterpart, meets UAE FM in Canberra

External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar, who is in Australia, held bilateral talks with the New Zealand Deputy PM and Foreign Minister Winston Peters, and met Peter Dutton, leader of the Liberal Party of Australia, and also with the UAE Foreign Minister Abdullah bin Zayed.

In posts on X, the EAM said:

On his bilateral with the New Zealand side:

“Pleased to meet DPM & FM @winstonpeters of New Zealand.
“Discussed education, technology, agriculture, technology and people to people ties. Also exchanged views on Indo-Pacific and global issues.”

On his meeting with Dutton, he posted:

“Good to meet @PeterDutton_MP, Leader of Liberal Party of Australia.
“Shared perspectives on global issues and appreciate his support for our bilateral ties.”

On meeting his UAE counterpart, he wrote:

“So nice to meet my friend DPM & FM @ABZayed of UAE in Canberra today.”
