Explosion in south Kashmir’s Shopian

Shopian: An explosion took place outside mini secretariat in Shopian on Monday where Chief Minister Mufti Sayeed was planning to visit today, police said.
However, there was no loss of life in the explosion.
An official said that the blast took place at 11:10 am today, minutes ahead of the scheduled arrival of Sayeed.
"Mufti was scheduled to reach the spot at around 11:30 am," sources said.
He was scheduled to inaugurate the mini secretariat today.
Pertinently, his visit was cancelled earlier due to a strike called against attack on truckers in Udhampur
