Srinagar: Ahead of Indian Prime Minister’s visit to Kashmir Valley, Police crackdown on separatist leaders continue while reports said that relatives of those separatist leaders are being rounded up who have so far managed to evade arrest.

Islami Tanzeem-i-Azadi patron Abdul Samad Inqalabi told CNS that after evading arrest, police picked up his brother Muhammad Yousuf and lodged him police station Sumbal. “In order to pressurize me and some other separatist leaders, police have been targeting their relatives, that is not only undemocratic but also unconstitutional,” he said.

Pertinently, police have rounded up almost all the separatist leaders and alleged stone-pelters to thwart Geelani sponsored ‘Million March’ and to ensure peaceful rally of Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi on November 7 this month. (CNS)
