Five persons were injured in different road accidents in the valley.

In Awantipora, a motorcycle bearing registration number JK03A-8390 met with an accident near Laribal Pinglish in the jurisdiction of Police Station Tral, resulting in injuries to three persons namely Junaid Ahmad, Jamsheed Ahmad Rather residents of Shikargah Tral and Imtiyaz Ahmad Parray resident of Laribal Tral. All the injured were shifted to hospital for treatment.

In another accident, a Santro car bearing registration number JK018-7062 hit and injured a pedestrian namely Abdul Khaliq Wani resident of Khrew near Pampore Eidgah. The injured was shifted to Public Health Center Khrew for treatment.

Awantipora police has registered cases in both the accidents.

In Baramulla, a Tipper bearing registration number 0AD-71182 collided with a Maruti car bearing registration number JK05D-1137 at Ladoora Rafiabad in the jurisdiction of Police Station Sopore, resulting in injuries to Maruti driver Mohammad Lateef Ganaie resident of Ladoora. The Injured was shifted to hospital for treatment. Baramulla police has registered a case in this regard.
