G20 Summit: DGP, J&K, briefs Home Secretary on working of force

Ahead of G20 Summit, union Home Secretary Ajay Kumar Bhalla on Wednesday was briefed by Director General of Police J&K on the measures taken for maintaining peace in the Union Territory.


The Union Home secretary was accompanied by Director Intelligence Bureau (IB) Tapan Kumar Deka visited Police Headquarters at Srinagar and chaired a meeting of senior officers today.DGP J&K Dilbagh Singh and other officers briefed the Union Home Secretary regarding the working of Jammu and Kashmir Police and measures taken for maintaining peace in the Union Territory.


On the occasion, DGP on behalf of all ranks of J&K Police presented mementos to the Union Home Secretary & DIB as a token of love & respect.


The meeting was attended among others by DIB, Tapan Kumar Deka, Additional Chief Secretary J&K, R. K. Goyal, Spl. DG CID J&K R. R. Swain, ADGP Jammu, Mukesh Singh, ADGP Headquarters PHQ, M. K. Sinha, IGP Traffic J&K, Vikramjeet Singh and Divisional Commissioner Kashmir Vijay Kumar Bidhuri.


The Union Home Secretary was received by DGP J&K and his team of officers on his arrival at Police Headquarters Srinagar.
