Puducherry, May 19(UNI) A day after the Supreme Court ordered to release A G Pervarivalan, one of the seven convicts in the Rajiv Gandhi Assassination case, Senior Congress leader and Lok Sabha member from Puducherry V Vaithiingam on Thursday said that ‘God will not forgive’ him though the Top Court frees him.
‘God will not forgive Pervarivalan even if the Court did so’, Vaithilingam told news persons here.
He said the Order of the Apex Court ‘is a punishment to democracy.’
As far as the Congress is concerned ”Wednesday” (SC ordered release of Pervarivalan ) was a black day for the party, the senior Congress leader remarked.
Former Chief Minister V Narayanasamy said the Congress cadres at grassroot level will not forgive Pervarivalan.
