“There is no fault with the Agenda of Alliance of Mufti Sahab set with BJP. But in the last ten months a number of gaps remained in implementing the agenda,” Akhtar quoted the PDP president Mehbooba Mufti as saying during her speech.

“PDP had to do a lot of firefighting on a number of issues and the atmosphere of trust could not be created despite Mufti Sahab taking such an unpopular decision,” she said in the meeting.
“The party president said that because of the lack of atmosphere of trust the initiatives which the alliance took in development and in education sector could not create an impact,” Akhtar quoted her saying.

“Mehbooba Mufti is ready to take a call on government formation once she is convinced that the purpose and the objective of the Agenda of Alliance that Mufti Sahab had forged along with the Prime Minister Narendra Modi is translated into reality. And the agenda set by Mufti Sahab with the other party can be taken forward to its logical conclusion,” Akhtar told reporters after the meeting of the party at Fairview Residence of Mehbooba Mufti at Gupkar here.
Senior leader and Member of Parliament Muzaffar Hussain Baig was present at the meeting. However, senior PDP leader and MP Tariq Hameed Karra did not attend the meeting.
Baig in his speech during the meeting said that no decision will take place which is against the interests, respect and dignity of the people.
On absence of Karra, Akhtar said “Tariq Sahab was out of station”.
