Srinagar: Unknown men lobbed a grenade at a residential house in Batmaloo area of Srinagar late Thursday evening.
A police official told GNS that the grenade was lobbed at the residence of one Zubair Ahmad at Darwani colony in Batmaloo. However, it was not immediately known whether there was any damage to property or any injury to any one, the official said. It was also not immediately ascertained whether Zubair or any of his family members were affiliated with any political or any other group.
Meanwhile, a police team was rushed to the spot to access the situation, he said.
