Hizb Chief Pays Tributes to Slain Militant

Srinagar: Hizb-ul- Mujahideen chief Syed Sallah-u-Din has paid glowing tributes to the militant who was killed in an encounter with security forces in Kunzer area of Baramulla district on Thursday.

In an emailed statement, Hizb spokesman said that Sallahudin said that Hafiz Nisar Ahmad son of Ali Mohammad of Kunzer, who was killed by army in the encounter, was “a brave” militant who also killed two army men and injured several others in the gunfight.

Quoting Hizb chief, the spokesman said that Hafiz Nisar was wounded on September 9 in a gunfight with security forces.

“The martyred Nisar was a vital asset and sacrificed his life for the freedom movement,” he said. (KNS)
