Srinagar: With the slipping of land under the feet of militants in south Kashmir owing to recent killings of top commanders, the Hizbul Mujahidin on Tuesday has issued a warning against the spies of government forces responsible for killing of these militants.Pic by Xuhaib MaqboolThe warning to these informers has come after Hizbul Mujahidin lost its top militant commander Abu Qasim on October 29 along with another accomplice besides three more local militants on Tuesday.

Following the killing of three local militants, the outfit in Muzafferabad led by its chairman Syed Salahudin chaired a special meeting of his council to discuss the future strategy. “The martyrs of Bijbehara- Adil Ahmad Shiekh, Tanveer Ahmad Bhat and Sartaj Ahmad Lone have laid down their lives for Islam and the freedom of their motherland.” Salahudin said in a statement.
He said all the freedom fighters fought bravely with the armed forces and embraced martyrdom. He said martyrdom of these freedom fighters amply demonstrates the fact that every Mujahid (militant) of Hizb is committed to Kashmir cause and is ready to sacrifice his precious life to achieve the noble cause.”
Hizb chief also paid glowing tributes to the Jammat-e-Islami leaders, Ali Muhammad Mujahid and Sallah-ud-Din Qadir Choudhary who were hanged in Bangladesh on Sunday. (KNS)
