Srinagar: Militant outfit Hizbul Mujhadeen Friday paid glorious tribute to gold medalist militant Irhad Ahmad and Adil Ahmed Khandey who were killed in a gunfight with government forces in South Kashmir’s Shopian district on Thursday evening.

Quoting Hizb chief, the spokesperson of the outfit Salim Hashmi said that Syed Salahuddin while presiding the meeting of General Council and Hizb Command Council said that nobody will be allowed to play with the blood of martyrs. He said that it is their duty to take the ongoing freedom struggle to its logical conclusion as budding youth have been sacrificing their precious lives for the sacred cause.

“While people are sacrificing their lives for freedom movement there are certain anti freedom elements who act as Indian agents and get these militants killed for petty gains. We warn such elements as they can neither scare the freedom loving people nor can stop this ongoing movement,” he said. (CNS)
