A jawan of Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) on Tuesday died in an accidental fire in Poonch district of Jammu and Kashmir.
Police here said that a CRPF person namely Abdul Ghani, hailing from village Chak Dayala in Samba district of Jammu and Kashmir allegedly died in an accidental fire from his own service rifle (INSAS) at CRPF Unit Hedquarter Kamsar in Poonch district.
The cause that triggered an accidental fire is being proved, said Police adding that a case has been registered and investigation is taken up.
