Police have arrested an absconder who was evading arrest for the past over two decades in sub district of Awantipora on Wednesday.
The accused has been identified as Reyaz Ahmad Alaie a resident of Awantipora and presently staying at Mehjoor Nagar in Srinagar.
The warrant under section 512 CrPC issued by the Court of Principal Session Judge Pulwama was executed by the Police against the accused who was evading arrest for the past 21 years.
Subsequently, the accused, arrested by a special police team, was produced before the Court of Law, police said.
