J&K Police attaches property of Pakistan settled terrorist in Banihal

Jammu and Kashmir Police on Wednesday attached the property of a terrorist settled in Pakistan in Banihal tehsil of Ramban district.

The police spokesman said that Police has attached the property under the jurisdiction of Police Station Banihal, District Ramban.


To combat terrorism, the Ramban Police has attached immovable property, i.e., agricultural land measuring 1 Kanals 1 Marla registered in the name of one Pakistan settled terrorist namely Mohd Saleem, resident of Takia Tethar, Tehsil Banihal District Ramban who was involved in a case of Police Station Banihal and is absconding with a motive to avoid the legal proceedings.


The Court has ordered for attachment of Property after declaring him Proclaimed offender, he said.
The property was attached and was executed in presence of Police team and an Executive Magistrate, ensuring full compliance with legal procedures.


The action marks a significant milestone in the ongoing investigation into unlawful and subversive activities in the region, said the spokesman.


He said that it highlights the Ramban Police’s dedication to neutralizing the threats to national security and maintaining peace and order.


“Police, in collaboration with other agencies, remain resolute in their mission to take a stringent measure against individuals and entities involved in activities threatening the sovereignty and integrity of the Nation,” the spokesman added.
