Continuing its action against the banned organisation Jamaat-e-Islami (JeI), J&K Police conducted coordinated search operations across District Budgam.
Raids were carried out in Soibugh, Magam, Khansahib, Beerwah, Chadoora, and Charar-i-Sharief areas, targeting residences and premises of JeI members and their associates. The operations, conducted under due legal procedures, led to the recovery of incriminating documents and electronic evidence indicating continued association with the banned outfit.
J&K Police reaffirmed its commitment to dismantling the terror ecosystem and eradicating support structures of proscribed organisations to ensure lasting peace and security in the district.(KINS)
