Continuing its sustained efforts to strengthen public police relations and promote participatory policing, police camp Imamsahib today organized a Police Community Partnership Group (PCPG) meeting at Imamsahib. The initiative aimed to engage local residents and address community concerns through constructive dialogue.
The meeting was chaired by the DySP PC Imamsahib Shri. Chander Kant-JKPS accompanied by SHO PS Imamsahib and witnessed active participation from elders, respected citizens, traders, youth representatives and members of civil society from Imamsahib and adjoining areas.
During the interaction participants raised several issues of public importance. The officer patiently listened to all grievances and assured the gathering that genuine concerns would be addressed on priority. Issues pertaining to other departments would be promptly forwarded to the concerned authorities to ensure timely redressal.
The meeting concluded with a renewed commitment to cooperation and collaboration between the police and the community for maintaining peace, harmony and public welfare in the area.(JKNS)
