Contact established between security forces and terrorists in Rajouri gunfight

A gunfight broke out between security forces and terrorists in the forests of Gambhir Muglan in Rajouri district of Jammu and Kashmir.


The Army’s White Knight Corps, in a post on X, said that at around 11:30 am, contact was established with terrorists in the general area of Gambhir Muglan in Rajouri during an intelligence-based joint operation conducted along with the Jammu and Kashmir Police and CRPF.


“Alert troops responded swiftly with calibrated action. A firefight ensued, and a cordon has been effectively established while the operations remain underway,” the post said.
