J&K Police launch massive crackdown on Jamaat-e-Islami Network in Ganderbal

In a major coordinated operation, J&K Police carried out extensive searches across District Ganderbal, targeting individuals and premises associated with the banned organisation Jamaat-e-Islami (JeI), proscribed under the UAPA.

The simultaneous raids were conducted across several areas based on credible inputs about attempts by JeI-linked elements to revive organisational activities through covert channels. A large quantity of incriminating materials, digital devices, and documents linked to the outfit were seized. Several suspects have been detained for questioning.

These operations are part of a sustained preventive strategy to dismantle the terror-separatist ecosystem, cut off its ideological and financial networks, and ensure lasting peace in the district.(KINS)
