J&K Police organized a mega Anti-Drug rally in Pampore under the theme “Nasha Mukt Yuva for Viksit Bharat.” The rally started from Govt. Boys Higher Secondary School Pampore. The rally was organised by Police Station Pampore headed by SDPO Pampore Shri RP Singh alongwith SHO Police Station Pampore and Staff and students of Govt. Boys Higher Secondary School Pampore.
The main objective of the programme was to spread awareness about the ill effects of drug abuse and its grave consequences on individuals as well as society. During the event, officers appealed to the youth, students, and the general public to join hands with Police in the fight against drug abuse and related substances in order to eliminate this social evil from society.
Students and participants carried banners and placards bearing messages against drug abuse, raised slogans against social evils, and pledged to work collectively towards eradicating this menace from the society.(JKNS)
