In a decisive move against terror networks, the Jammu and Kashmir Police have seized the immovable properties of five exfiltrated Hizbul Mujahideen terrorists in the Gool area of Ramban district.
The action, carried out under orders from the SDPO Gool, prohibits any transfer, lease, disposal, or alteration of these properties without prior approval from law enforcement authorities.
According to police, the seized properties belonged to militants who had exfiltrated to Pakistan-occupied Jammu & Kashmir (PoJK) and were attempting to sell their assets to fund militant activities in the region. This measure is part of the government’s broader counter-terrorism strategy aimed at disrupting terror financing and preventing local recruitment into terrorist ranks.
Officials emphasized that such actions will continue to dismantle terror networks and prevent the resurgence of militancy in Jammu and Kashmir.(KINS)
