Srinagar: In a gesture of honesty, tourist police in Gulmarg helped a tourist from UP to recover his lost bag that possesed  cash and other valuables worth rupees 5,0000.
Suhail Rasool, station house officer, tourism police Gulmarg, told KNS that a tourist, Riyasat Hussain Saifee son of Mohammad Shafi of Muradabad, UP, reported to them that he had lost his bag containing some cash, jewellery and electronic items of about Rs 50,000 in Gulmarg.
“We acted swiftly to trace the lost bag within hours of the incident and handed over the bag with all valuables to the tourist,” rasool told KNS.
