The yatra to Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Cave Shrine resumed today after a three-day suspension due to inclement weather conditions.
Officials stated that the yatra, which had been halted following a weather advisory from the IMD, resumed on Wednesday morning.
The Shrine Mata Vaishno Devi Shrine Board also posted on X, “As already communicated, all Yatra registration counters shall remain operational on October 8, 2025, from 6:00 AM onwards.”
“Devotees are advised to stay updated through official communication channels for further information,” it further posted.

Meanwhile, the chopper service is also operating smoothly as weather improves, they said.

As many as 34 people, mostly pilgrims, were killed and several injured after a landslide was triggered on August 26 due to heavy rains near the Inderprastha Bhojnalaya at Adhkuwari.
