Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Tuesday claimed that the BJP will secure a double-digit win in the upcoming Lok Sabha election in Kerala.

Alleging that the Congress and the CPI(M) are ”best friends” in National politics, he said both these parties are acting as enemies in Kerala cheating people for the last several decades.

“NDA is a credible third alternative in Kerala,” Modi said while addressing party workers at the Central Stadium during the concluding session of the Padayatra led by Kerala BJP state unit.

Calling upon the people to act against the political nexus between the Congress and CPI(M), the PM asked people to vote for the NDA for game changer.

Though Congress in Kerala says the State Chief Minister is corrupt and fascist, the INDIA bloc allies express a different opinion in Delhi, and both the Congress and the CPI(M) give more importance to family politics than national interest.

Responding to the CPI-M allegation that Kerala is being discriminated by the Centre, he said Kerala is getting all Central benefits like any other BJP ruled state in the country.

Both the Congress and the CPI(M) are responsible for the ruining of the higher education sector in Kerala, the Prime Minister said, adding that the Centre is committed to develop the tourism potential of the State.

Lashing out at the vote bank politics of the INDIA bloc, he said Non Resident Indians, especially Keralites, had gained much respect currently due to the rising international stature of India.

BJP State President K Surendran, Bharath Dharma Jana Sena (BDJS) President Thushar Vellappally, Union Minister of State for External Affairs V Muraleedharan, former Union Minister O. Rajagopal, and other party leaders including PC. George, Anil K. Antony, Suresh Gopi, Kummanam Rajasekharan, KK Krishnadas, BJP National leader Prakash Javadekar were present.
