Jammu, May 1 (UNI) A fire broke out at Jammu Civil Secretariat on Sunday in which the major record of the Law Department of Jammu and Kashmir was destroyed.
Police said that fire broke out in one of the complexes of the Law Department in Civil Secretariat at around 6:35 pm.
Acting swiftly, 5 fire tenders, along with a team of fire fighters, were immediately pressed into service.
“The fire was controlled from spreading but by the mean time, major record has been destroyed in the flames,” the police said.
The fire was timely controlled but the smoke was still emanating of the complex.
