Highlighting the government’s transformative steps, LG Sinha noted the pivotal role of the Department of Industries & Commerce in redefining Jammu and Kashmir’s innovation and entrepreneurship ecosystem.

“In the past few years, J&K’s industrial landscape has witnessed an unprecedented surge, fostering a culture of innovation, research, development, and scientific advancement. I want to see our youth emerge as top-notch entrepreneurs, driving the nation’s growth,” the Lieutenant Governor remarked.

He emphasized that focused efforts and policy reforms have turned J&K into a thriving startup hub. Notable initiatives such as Mission Yuva are fostering a robust business support ecosystem for the enterprising youth of the region.

“We continue to prioritize policies that promote incubation centers and provide enhanced resources and support for new startups. I urge our youth to dream big, dedicate themselves to their goals, and contribute to building a dynamic Jammu and Kashmir that reaches new heights of growth,” he added.

He noted that the youth entrepreneurship mission holds significance not just for India but for the global community, as both developed and developing nations look to their young populations to address the developmental challenges of the 21st century.

Referring to the industrial transformation underway in J&K, LG Sinha highlighted the visible impact of the Central Sector Industrial Development Scheme, which has played a key role in attracting investments and driving economic growth in the region.
