Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha on Saturday met several delegations and individuals at Raj Bhavan, including representatives of the Kashmir Chamber of Commerce and Industry (KCCI), former Minister G. M. Saroori, and Irfan Manhas, Vice Chairman of District Development Council (DDC) Shopian.
A delegation of the Kashmir Chamber of Commerce and Industry (KCCI) led by its President Javid Ahmad Tenga, comprising newly elected office bearers and executive committee members, called on the Lieutenant Governor. The delegation discussed a wide range of issues concerning tourism promotion, industrial growth, and trade-related activities in the region.
The members also apprised the Lt Governor about various upcoming initiatives aimed at enhancing Kashmir’s visibility as a leading tourist destination, and sought continued government support in strengthening the tourism and business ecosystem of the Union Territory.
In another meeting, former Minister G. M. Saroori also called on the Lt Governor and discussed matters related to public welfare and development initiatives.
Later, Irfan Manhas, Vice Chairman of District Development Council (DDC) Shopian, met the Lt Governor and highlighted key developmental issues and ongoing projects in the district.(KINS)
