Srinagar: Chairman Jammu and Kashmir Liberation Front Yasin Malik has appealed people to make the ‘Jamia Masjid chalo’ on the anniversary of Jammu Muslims’ massacre called by Mirwaiz Umar Farooq a grand success.
In a statement to KNS, Malik said the carnage and massacre of more than three hundred thousand Muslims at Jammu on 6th November 1947 is the blackest day of our history. Today so-called Kashmiri rulers are praising and encouraging the same fascists and the mindset that was responsible for this massacre and for holding a public program for them; whole Kashmir has been turned into a jail by the same rulers.
To pay homage to Jammu martyrs, People should make Jamia Masjid Chalo call by Mirwaiz Umer Farooq sahib a grand success. On one hand to ensure peoples presence in Modi Jalsa, attendance of Daily -wagers and non-permanent employees is being ensured by hook and crook and on the other hand people’s lives have been turned miserable by so –called rulers.
This was stated by the incarcerated ailing chairman JKLF Muhammad Yasin Malik in a message sent to the press on the occasion of Jammu massacre day .in his message Yasin Malik said that 6th of November 1947,represents a blackest day of human history when  Lakhs  of Jammu people driven out of their homes were butchered by communal fascist forces  patronized by that time rulers . This was a criminal act done by fascists and their masters and till date this massacre stands as one of the worst human tragedies in which innocent men, women and children were butchered and killed in cold blood.  Yasin Malik said that the people who were massacred stood for Azadi and by killing these Jammu Muslims, fascists also changed the demography of Jammu region completely. He said that When all this was happening in Jammu, Kashmiri Muslims stood for communal harmony and tolerance as directed by their great religion Islam, and despite provocations safeguarded their non Muslim brethren. He said that after assuming power in Jammu Kashmir PDP/BJP coalition have actually given a free hand to the same mindset that was responsible for Jammu like massacres in 1947. Today Jammu, Doda, Baderwah, Kishtwar, Rajouri, Poonch, Ladakh and even Kashmir are being polluted and hatred is being promoted by these forces.
Yasin Malik said that today when whole world, non-communal Hindus, writers, intellectuals, scientists, actors, civil society and players of India are protesting against the growing intolerance and attacks on Muslims and are holding Nerander Modi and his party responsible for all this, ironically so-called ruling party in Kashmir is on daily basis applauding Modi and his party and terming them non-communal and all inclusive. He said that so-called Rulers have beaten all records of shame by issuing such mean statements and by encouraging fascist and communal forces and implementing their agenda on Kashmir.
Yasin Malik said that people of Jammu Kashmir cannot forget the sacrifices rendered by Jammu Muslims and today when we remember them, I appeal to people to make Jamia Masjid chalo call by Mirwaiz Muhammad umer Farooq a grand success. While condemning the ongoing crackdown on JKLF, resistance camp, ex-militants, common youth and children, Yasin Malik said that on one hand rulers through their MLA’s are engaged in ensuring participation of daily wagers and non-permanent employees etc by hook and crook in Modi Jalsa on 7th November and on the other hand Kashmir has been turned into a big jail and people are being caged down to stop them from raising their voices. Yasin sahib said that these so-called rulers should know that by these oppressive measures their hypocritical politics has been fully exposed now.
Meanwhile crackdown on JKLF is continuing as police has arrested JKLF senior from Shupian Muhammad Ayub Naikoo,Tanveer Ahmad from Kangan and Imtiyaz Ahmad from Bijebihara today. Police also raided the residences of zonal leaders Ashraf bin Salam, activist Muhammad Afzal Sheikh and district president Muhammad Ishaaq Ganaie. It is worth to mention that JKLF ailing chairman Muhammad Yasin Malik, vice chairman Showkat Ahmad Bakhshi, zonal president Noor Muhammad kalwal, deputy chief organizer Mir Siraj ud din Davood, zonal organizer Bashir Ahmad Kashmiri, senior resistance member Muhammad Amin Magloo, district president Ganderbal Bashir Ahmad Rather(Boya), JKLF district president Kupwara Muhammad Rafiq war ,district president Budgam Gulzar Ahmad Pahalwan, activist Mushtaq Ahmad Koreg, Muhammad Altaf Raina, Fayaz Ahmad Khan etc are languishing in police custody from last many days while has police has raided  the residences of JKLF vice chairman advocate Bashir Ahmad Butt, general secretary Ghulam Rasool Dar Eidi,  zonal senior vice president Muhammad Yasin Butt, district president Pulwama Javed Ahmad Butt, district president Baramullah Abdul Rashid Magloo secretary Muhammad Rajab and Tariq Ahmad, activist Fayaz Ahmad Lone and Imtiyaz Ahmad and others.
