VDC Member Shoots Himself Dead In Doda

Jammu, July 18 : A 55-year-old Member of Village Defence Committee (VDC) shoot himself with his rifle at his residence in Gandoh area of Doda district of Jammu and Kashmir.

A police officer told GNS that the VDC member namely  Baljeet Ray (55) son of Thakur Lal, a resident of village Luddu Kansar, shot himself with his rifle and died on spot.

“A case under relevant sections of law has been registered and further investigations taken up,” he said. (GNS)
