Militants’s Body Recovered in Kupwara

Srinagar: Police today claimed to have recovered the body of a militant in Kupwara district of North Kashmir.
The police official said the body was indentified of a foreign militant and on spot a rifle and some ammunition was also recovered.
“The body was lying in a deep gorge near Kumkadi forest area.”
Later the body was taken to army’s 41 RR headquarter and was handed over to concerned police station for further legal formalities.
The cause of death of the suspected militant was yet to be ascertained however, it is believed that he might had slipped during heavy rains last week and fallen into the gorge.
