Srinagar: A 2-year-old girl drowned after slipped into a stream at Shirmal area of Zainapora in south Kashmir’s Shopian district on Saturday.
Reports reaching GNS said that the girl Hafsa Shakeel Bhat daughter of Shakeel Bhat slipped into the stream which is close to her residential house.
The incident occurred when she was playing on the bank of the stream, they said.
A police office also confirmed the death of the child due to drowning. (GNS)
