Srinagar: Stating that Narendra Modi government was using every means to sabotage Kashmir’s freedom struggle, LeT chief Mehmood Shah has said that the possible invitation by Indian Prime minister to separatists on November 7 for talks was a move in this direction.

In an emailed statement to KNS, LeT chief said that Kashmir has been turned into an army garrison and said that all pro-freedom leaders and activists including men and women have been arrested.

He said that India should take the participation of people in slain LeT commander Abu Qasim’s funeral as a referendum for freedom of Kashmir. “The funeral should open the eyes of India,” he said adding that his militant organization will not   barter the sacrifices of Kashmiri youth for any anything but freedom.

The LeT chief said that Kashmir freedom movement has reached at a crucial stage and urged people to remain united in their resolve to achieve “this cherished goal”. (KNS)
