Srinagar, April 19 (UNI) A Mosque and two shopping centers were ruined in a devastating fire in Gojiwara area of down town Srinagar, fire department said on Tuesday.
The fire broke out in the Mosque at Gojiwara area around 1535 hours and engulfed two adjacent shopping malls and a residential house wishing no time.
The firemen and machines were rushed to the spot to douse the leaping flames. However, the Mosque, the upper story of two shopping complexes and a residential house were damaged in the fire.
The cause of the fire is being ascertained, the fire and emergency officials said.
