‘PDP befooled people during elections’
Addressing a rally in Dialgam, Anantnag, the home town of Chief Minister Mufti Mohammad Sayeed, NC Working president and former chief minister Omar Abdullah lashed out at PDP, saying that the party has befooled voters in Kashmir for power.
“PDP told you that vote for us as we will keep BJP away. But after winning elections they formed alliance with BJP. Now, PDP invites and shares dias with those against whom they took your votes,” Omar told the gathering.
This was the first public speech by Omar in Dialgam.
Omar said that Kashmir issue cannot be resolved by financial packages.
He said that PDP has failed to fulfill its promise that it made with people during lections. (KNS)
