Bihar Chief Minister and senior Janata Dal (United) leader Nitish Kumar met Congress president Mallikarjun Kharge and party leader Rahul Gandhi here on Monday.

During the meeting, they discussed the issue of unity among anti-BJP parties, sources said.

Meanwhile, Congress general secretary in-charge Organisation KC Venugopal while apprising the media about the meeting said, “We had a detailed discussion about the opposition parties’ meeting. In one to two days, a final decision will be made about the date and venue of the meeting.”

In response to a question, Venugopal said,“Majority of parties will attend the meeting’’.

Last month, Congress, JD (U) and Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) had decided to work together to bring the ‘like-minded’ parties together and fight against the ruling dispensation in the 2024 general elections.
