A woman died and her husband Ramesh Chand and driver of the vehicle, Chetan Kumar received serious injuries when their car went out of control and struck against a wall near DAV school of Una on Tuesday night.
The deceased was named Rita of Dehra.
All the injured were admitted to Una hospital for treatment, where Rita was declared brought dead.
SP Arjit Sen Thakur said a case has been registered against the car driver under sections 279, 337 and 304A of IPC. A case has been registered in Sadar police station Una on the complaint of Ramesh Chand s/o Mangat Ram of Dehra.
The cause of the accident was stated to be over speeding.
A case has been registered against Chetan Kumar, the car driver.
