A militant has been killed in an ongoing gunfight between militants and security forces in Jammu and Kashmir’s Kulgam district on Thursday.
The battle erupted on Tuesday at Mishipora area in south Kashmir and resumed on Thursday afternoon after an intermittent lull, leaving the militant dead.
Police had said on Tuesday that two to three militants were believed to be trapped. One of them was believed to be involved in the killing of school teacher Rajni Bala.
