Online Assessment: DIET Asks HoIs To Ensure Participation Of Class 10th Students

Srinagar: Authorities on Tuesday directed the Head of Institutions (HoI) of government Secondary and Higher Secondary Schools to ensure participation of online assessment of 10th standard students.

The online assessment of the 10th standard is scheduled to commence from July-15.

In this regard, an order was issued by District Institute of Education and Training (DIET), a copy of which lies with the news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO)

“It is hereby requested that in view of the online assessment of class 10th scheduled to commence from July-15 as per the date sheet already issued by State Institute of Education (SIE) Kashmir, HoIs of government high schools, higher secondary schools of district Srinagar are required to ensure the participation of the students who are attending online classes of 10th standard currently enrolled in their institutions from their homes,” the order reads.

Authorities also requested the HoIs to inform the students about the things they need to know before appearing in the assessment on the scheduled date of each paper.

According to the order, the HoIs are supposed to inform the students about form code to be communicated with an assessment link on the scheduled dates of Assessment, mail user ID and Password for Login, UDISE Code, name of the educational zone and complex Centre.

“Moreover, All HoD’s of DIET Srinagar are advised to gear up their zonal level teams and ensure hassle-free and maximum participation of students in the online assessment,” the order reads—(KNO)
