Islamabad, April 21(UNI) The Pakistan Rupee on Thursday plunged to Rs 187.22 against the US Dollar in the interbank market.
The value of USD rose by Rs 1.30 against Pakistan Rupee today to reach Rs 187.22.
P Rupee had closed at Rs 185.92 in the interbank exchange on Wednesday.
The same may come under further pressure as Pakistan needs to make external payments.
Earlier today, Finance Minister of Pakistan Miftah Ismail left for the US, where he is expected to meet IMF officials and seek revival of a loan facility that was stalled following the premature end of the Imran Khan government.
