Congress on Thursday claimed that the PDP and BJP had never parted ways while the present deadlock was a stage managed event to reclaim the lost ground.
State Congress chief Ghulam Ahmad Mir told media that the PDP and BJP had never parted ways and that everything that was witnessed since the demise of the chief minister Mufti Mohammad Sayeed was stage managed. Mir said that PDP wanted to reclaim the lost ground and strived to pacify peoples’ anger that was due to creating a communal atmosphere in the state.
Mir said that the alliance between the BJP and the PDP was intact since the parliament polls of 2014 and it was revealed to everyone after 2014 state elections. “For 10 months while being in the government, the PDP was hailing the BJP. All of a sudden the part felt that the agenda of alliance is not being implemented. Such a transformation of thoughts is indeed a questionable entity which merits concern. In reality, it was all aimed to reclaim the ground which PDP has lost in Kashmir,” Mir said.
Commenting over the Madhav- Mehbooba meet, the state Congress chief said everything is being done to create illusion in peoples’ minds. “It was certain from the day one that PDP will again go with the BJP. These meetings and deliberations are nothing but aimed to pacify peoples’ anger.”(Agencies)
