Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar on Saturday said Prime Minister Narendra Modi should either resign or apologise for insulting women, tribals and dalits by not inviting
President Draupadi Murmu for inauguration of new parliament building.
Singh told media persons here that President should have been natural choice for extending invitation to inaugurate new parliament building.
It was surprising that Prime Minister Narendra Modi had himself decided to inaugurate the new parliament building, he added.
” PM Modi has insulted women and tribals of the country by not giving opportunity to President Murmu to inaugurate the new parliament building”, the JD(U) leader said adding during foundation stone laying ceremony of the new parliament building, the then President Ram Nath Kovind who belonged to dalit community, was also not invited.
It was evident that by his action PM Modi had insulted women, dalits and tribals of the country, he alleged.
Singh said Prime Minister Modi should either resign or apologise to the nation for insulting dalits, women and tribals of the country. PM Modi had taken credit for making President, a woman from
dalit community but now his true face stood exposed, he remarked.
