PMSSS Aspiring Students Asked Not To Share Password, Credentials During Online Counselling

Srinagar: Higher Education Department today asked Prime Minister’s Special Scholarship Scheme (PMSSS) aspiring students of 2019-20 not to share their password or credentials with anybody to avoid any difficulty in joining the institution of their choice.

The issued came to notice during a recently conducted round of online counseling for PMSSS 2019-20 aspiring students from J&K State who got admission was not as per merit basis.

The aspiring students had informed the department that by mistake they shared the password and other credentials with the Cyber Cafe located in Jammu.

The aforesaid Cyber Cafe has misused their password/credentials and uploaded their own choices and therefore allotted institution /course as per the choice provided by the Cyber Cafe and not by the eligible aspiring candidate. (GNS)
